SyAM Software Releases Version 3.1 With Support for Intel® vProTM Technology

New Software Enables Seamless Integration of Two Leading System Area Management Technologies.

(July 18, 2006 - Nashua, NH)

SyAM Software is announcing today the release of Version 3.1 of the firm's software for managing system area issues in SMB and Enterprise environments. Version 3.0, released in March of 2006, provided users a unified interface to proactively manage their notebook, desktop, server and PCI RAID platforms. Version 3.0 also included asset management and remote resolution capabilities. Version 3.1 significantly expands remote resolution capabilities by incorporating support for the Intel® vProTM technology and integrating access between the two technologies. PCs based on Intel vPro technology enable Administrators to perform remote resolution capabilities for desktops. With SyAM Software Version 3.1 and Intel vPro technology now seamlessly integrated, the market place has a much more powerful solution for remote management of systems issues.

"SyAM Software is a company on the move," states Nick Thickins, CEO of SyAM Software, "and the release of Version 3.1 is another example of our forward progress. We have been delivering our technology to enterprise system providers for over two years. In March we made available our technology to the reseller channel and have created numerous partnerships since. In version 3.1 we have released our first set of features supporting Intel vPro technology. Over the next 12 months we will be greatly expanding the capabilities of administrators to work with Intel vPro technology enabled PCs. This level of integration, ease of use and cost consciousness provides administrators from companies of all sizes seamless movement between two of the most powerful systems management tools on the market today," says Mr. Thickins.

"Intel vPro technology will revolutionize the way organizations manage their computer systems when it becomes available later this year," said Gregory Bryant, General Manager, Intel Digital Office Platform Division. "With enhanced support for PCs based on Intel vPro technology in SyAM Software's upgrade to version 3.1, our mutual customers will have much more efficient management tools to help them remotely discover and repair system problems, and protect their PC fleets."

SyAM Software's remote management capabilities have been embraced by the market with a great deal of enthusiasm. Administrators can drill down to root causes of system problems and often fix them, all without leaving their desk. In fact, administrators can literally "take over" a machine at the keyboard, video, mouse (KVM) level and resolve software-based issues in a fraction of the time it used to take. While the software delivers these capabilities for nearly any system and Windows and Linux OS's, the additional features supporting Intel vPro technology do bring additional value.

"SyAM Software manages all Intel architectures as well as other platforms," says Mr. Thickins. "However, for those systems that are Intel vPro technology-enabled, administrators will now have deeper views, faster access, and greater efficiency in supporting them," says Mr. Thickins.
